On a bitter cold morning in Belfast Harbor, Maine, when the temperature is minus 10-15 degrees, the warmer ocean water condenses and forms “sea smoke”. The water vapor disappears when the sun warms up the air sufficiently.
Stanley Park is located in Vancouver, British Columbia. It’s a great park filled with trails for hiking, bike riding, with rivers, great foliage and wildlife.
About Me
After working as a research professor in molecular biology, I chose B/W photography as a second career. I use Mamiya medium format cameras and Kodak PX 125 film. Although I print digitally [Epson 2400] onto fine art paper, much of my work deals with silver gelatin printing onto glass, stones, shells, and other three dimensional objects. Both of these printing surfaces [paper vs. 3D] require very different types of photographs.
